May 10, 2019

We are pleased to report another successful Hill Day to the FAMA and FEMSA membership.

Hill Day 2019 had 58 FAMA/FEMSA attendees representing 45 companies in 24 states. The attendees were put into nine teams and met with a total of 110 Congressional offices.

Members encouraged their Congressional representatives to support FY 2020 funding levels of $410 million for Assistance to Firefighter Grants (AFG); $410 million for SAFER; $50 million for the U.S. Fire Administration and $50 million for the U.S. Search and Rescue System.

Please contact your own Congressional representative to encourage these FY 2020 funding levels for the fire service.
