2024’s Hill Day event organized by the FAMA / FEMSA Governmental Affairs Committee proved to be a resounding success, with 61 dedicated members from both organizations converging on Capitol Hill.

Throughout the week, member company representatives conducted 110 meetings with congressional office. At the forefront of their agenda was the urgent call for the reauthorization of AFG (Assistance to Firefighters Grants) and SAFER (Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response) grants, initiatives vital to the industry as a whole. This impressive turnout and engagement underscored the collective commitment of FEMSA and FAMA members to effect positive legislative outcomes and shape the future of their respective sectors.
